Art teacher. Six years. Children survived. Current life: Building brands, restaurants, objects, spaces, ideas, and Naïve, which refuses to stay in one category. Mother of: One teenage boy who has been used as a focus group against his will. Lives with: Disco, Ziggy, too many plants, too many chairs, and objects that “will make sense later.” Soundtrack: Umm Kulthum, preferably long enough to finish an entire identity. Natural habitat: Somewhere between a restaurant, a flea market, an art supply store and her own house.
Emné has been working independently since 2010, creating identities and concepts mainly across food, hospitality and culture, with a particular interest in making Lebanese references feel contemporary without turning everything into cedar trees.
